Khartoum, June 8 (SUNA)-Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Gibril Ibrahim received, at his office, today in the Ministry the Japanese Ambassador to Khartoum H.E Takashi Hattori.
The meeting discussed the strong relations between the two countries and the Japanese support to Sudan in economic development.
The Japanese Ambassador, revealed that Sudanese -Japanese committee was formed with representatives from Ministers of Foreign Affairs and industry besides businessmen in the two countries.
He explained that the objective of the committee is to exchange information on investment environment in Sudan and joint business opportunities between the two countries.
Hattori said Sudanese businessmen would be invited to visit Tokyo and hold a seminar on investment opportunities in Sudan during this year.
