Damazin, Nov. 20 (SUNA) - Governor of Blue Nile Region Lt. Gen. Ahmed Al-Omda Badai has affirmed the regional government's support and full sponsorship of all initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.
This came when he met in his office here today with the delegation of the Reform and Fraternity Committee headed by chieftain Al-Mak Al-Fateh Yusuf.
The meeting dealt with all issues related to the initiative of the committee in support of peace and stability in the region.
Al-Mak Al-Fateh stated that the initiative aims to boost the pillars of comprehensive peace, consolidate the social fabric and unify ranks, indicating that the governor affirmed his support and sponsorship of the committee’s initiative with its various axes.
He affirmed the initiative's keenness to support the corrective decisions of the Commander-in-Chief Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, pointing to the gains made thanks to the recent decisions, foremost of which is the adoption of the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan.
