Khartoum, Nov 25 (SUNA) – The resident of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on Thursday, appreciated the growing roles being played the Saudi Arabia to support the Transitional Period and the democratic transformation in the country.

Al-Burhan who met the Saudi Ambassador to Khartoum, at the Republican Palace, affirmed that the government will go ahead with the implementation of the structures of the transitional period institutions.

Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Jaafar conveyed the congratulations and blessings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman, for reaching the historic political agreement that put Sudan on the path of democratic transition and the return of Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk to his position, indicating the need to work to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the people.

The Saudi ambassador added that the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, stressing the Kingdom's readiness to provide all assistance for the success of the transitional period and democratic transformation in Sudan.
