Khartoum, May 12 (SUNA)- The member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak, received in the Republican Palace on Thursday the General Commissioner for Human Rights, Najm-Eddin Musa Abdul-Karim, and got informed on the challenges that face the voluntary and humanitarian work and the activity of the Sudanese and international organizations operating in the country.  

Dr. Salma has pledged to facilitate challenges facing the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) and the organizations working in this field to carry out their humanitarian message.   

In a press statement, the Commissioner pointed out that the meeting discussed the humanitarian work in Sudan and the complications facing it, in addition to the ways to overcome these challenges in many fields, including health, education and water.  

He said that TSC member expressed her great concern with the humanitarian situation and human rights in the country, adding that she promised help finalizing several tasks of the Humanitarian Aid Commission.
