Khartoum, May 15 (SUNA) – The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Nadir Yousuf El-Tayib has stressed the depth of Sudanese-Libyan relations and the need to boost them further in all fields.

This came when he met, at his office Sunday, the Ambassador of the State of Libya to Sudan Fawzi Abdel-Rahim Boumeriz.

The Undersecretary reiterated Sudan's keenness to develop these relations within the framework of the integration between the two countries and joint coordination, underlining the necessity for the return of the Sahel and Sahara Organization and the resumption of cooperation with Libya, hoping that security and stability would be achieved.

For his part, the Libyan ambassador praised the distinguished relations that bind the peoples of the two brotherly countries throughout the past eras, expressing his country's readiness to work to revive the Libyan-Sudanese integration and restore the work of the joint chambers of commerce through coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the relevant institutions.
