Muscat, May (SUNA) - The 20th Forum of the Arab Consumer Federation scheduled May 16-17 was opened here today with participation of Sudan under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Fishery and Water Resources of Oman,Dr. Saud bin Hammoud al-Habsi.
Head of the National Consumer Protection Agency, Dr Nasr-Eddin Sholgame who is participating in the Forum representing Sudan said in a statement to SUNA that the Forum aims to share experiences among consumer protection agencies in the participating countries andto look into ways of dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and the economic and social impacts of the pandemic and its economic and social effects on situation of the Arab consumers as well as its impacts on pattern of consumption of citizens in the same countries.
