Khartoum, May 16 (SUNA) - The Secretariat of Sudanese Expatriates Authority will organize on Tuesday at the Council of Minister's Hall the Consultative Meeting on Contribution of the Sudanese Expatriates to the National Economy.

The Transitonal Sovereignty Council’s member, Abul-Gasim Mohamed Ahmed Burtom, and the acting Minister of the Cabinet Affairs, Osman Hussein, will address the opening sitting.

In a press statement, the Secretary General of the Sudanese Expatriates Authority, Makin Hamid Tirab, said that the meeting aims to widen the scope of the participation and exchange discussion in order to reach to common visions that contribute to supporting the country's plans for care with the immigrants and the exchange of benefits  between them and the state, in a ways that enables the country to meet the aspirations of the immigrants and to implement stability projects for them,  as well as enhancing their roles in the national economic development, taking into account the important role that immigration economy plays in the country’s development and renaissance, in addition to the role of banks and financial institutes.

 Makin stated that the meeting which convenes with  participation of  the concerned ministries and the Sudanese financial institutions, more than 38 of Sudanese banks and exchanges, a number of Sudanese experts and bankers from inside and abroad will review the incentives for the immigrants, through the direct participation and via video conference, as part of the endeavors of the Sudanese Expatriates Authority to enhance the relation between the immigrants and the state’s institutions and providing motivating solutions and policies for the transfers and investment of the immigrants savings.,
