Al-Geneina, Aug 7(SUNA) - The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs of the events of Bir Saliba and Ardiba, which took place in the past days in West Darfur, which caused the loss of a number of lives and the loss of a large number of livestock.
Daglo addressing the families of the martyrs, at Saliba unit in Sirba locality, which he visited today,conveyed to them the condolences of the President of the Council The Transitional Sovereignty, Lieutenant-General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan Abdel-Rahman and the members of the Council, and the condolences of President Mohamed Idriss Deby, President of Chad.
He confirmed that there are measures taken by the government of Chad to restore the looted funds and arrest the perpetrators.
The Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council praised the patience and perseverance of the families of the victims, praising their cooperation with the regular forces, calling for restraint and deliberation and not to rush and respond to any provocation from any side, stressing that the government is determined not to repeat such events and will protect the borders.
He also called on citizens not to protect any criminal or thief, pointing out that security is everyone's responsibility, and citizens must help the regular forces to perform their tasks in order to preserve security and peace.
