Khartoum, Aug. 15 (SUNA) – The Leadership Council of the Sudanese Revolutionary Front, headed by the member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, heard in its meeting on Monday at the Friendship Hall, a briefing presented by the head of the Front, about the recent informal consultations between the front and the Quartet Mechanism represented by the United States, Britain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which dealt with the structures governing the transitional period and its tasks.

The spokesperson of the Revolutionary Front, Usama Saeed, indicated that the meeting of the Leadership Council of the Revolutionary Front was informed on the consultations with the Quartet Mechanism and discussed the issues of initiatives raised in the political arena, explaining that the Revolutionary Front will deal with all initiatives that are consistent the Juba agreement for peace in Sudan.

He indicated that the meeting of the Leadership Council of the Revolutionary Front also deliberated about the constitutional arrangements and the position of the Revolutionary Front regarding them, which is represented in the adherence to the constitutional document and the introduction of all the necessary amendments.

He revealed that the meeting agreed to form a political committee, headed by Malik Aggar, the member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, to discuss all the proposed initiatives and introduction of the necessary amendments in the initiative of the Revolutionary Front in the constitutional document.
