Khartoum, August 16 (SUNA) – The Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Hafiz Ibrahim Abdel-Nabi discussed with the Indonesian Ambassador to Sudan Sunarko Soweto cooperation between Sudan and Indonesia and the opportunities available for investment in the sector of animal resources. The minister said, in a meeting at his office on Tuesday with the Indonesian ambassador to Sudan, that Indonesia was one of the countries that have relations and cooperation with Sudan in all fields, specifically in the animal resources sector. The minister stressed activation of the memoranda of understanding in the field of animal resources, revealing that the Indonesian market is one of the important markets for the animal resources sector, pointing to the possibility of opening new opportunities and markets, especially in the fish and meat sector, stressing the importance of exchanging visits between the officials in the two countries. For his part, the Indonesian ambassador to Sudan said that he was briefed on the great potentials of Sudan in the field of animal resources, referring to the investment cooperation in the agricultural and animal fields, pointing out that the work is underway to sign memoranda of understanding in the field of investment in the sector animal resources, agriculture and trade, in addition to the training and exchange of experiences for the benefit of the two countries.
