Khartoum, Feb.7 (SUNA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador, Daffallah Al-Haj Ali, met ,separately, yesterday the Ghanaian Ambassador to Ethiopia, Mrs. Amma A. Twum Amoah, and the Nigerian Ambassador to Ethiopia Victor Adekunle Adeleke and briefed them on the developments of the situation in Sudan and the bilateral relations within the framework of Sudan's interest in West African countries.
During the meetings, he gave a briefing on the course of the political process and what Sudan expects from the member -states of the African Peace and Security Council to accompany it at this important stage.
For their part, the ambassadors expressed their thanks for the briefing and providing a detailed explanation about the developments in the situation in Sudan and affirmed their support for Sudan and their countryies’ great interest inthe current developments in Sudan due to the importance of Sudan to the entire African continent and to the African Union system as well as its role in building peace and stability in the region, especially the neighboring countries.
